Each reviewer scores five categories from 0–10. A sixth score, Crowd, comes from critic and audience ratings. All six count equally.

We combine available critic and audience ratings into one Crowd score. It counts equally with the five categories we score ourselves and is revealed during the episode.
We save the ratings used when we review the movie, so its Crowd score doesn't change afterward.
We average each reviewer's five category scores with the Crowd score. Heart adds 0.5 to that reviewer's score. We then average all reviewers' scores. If everyone agrees on GOAT, we add another 0.5 to the final score.
A movie that means something special to you. Adds 0.5 to your individual score.
The whole panel agrees it belongs among the greatest movies ever made. Adds 0.5 to the final group score.
The six-part base score runs from 0–10. Heart and GOAT are bonuses, so an official TGMR Score can finish above 10. The highest possible score is 11.
If two movies have the same displayed TGMR Score, the most recently reviewed movie takes the higher position.
RIDER SCORE
Once a movie joins the leaderboard, anyone riding along can give it a 0–10 score. Rider Score is the community's ongoing average—and it never changes the official TGMR Score or ranking.
